Football, New House, Acting Update, Fav. Song

The crowd sits restless in their metal sits trying to hear above the roaring of the stadium. The announcer's voice soars above the excitement. And now please welcome, THE BOISE STATE BRONCOS!! The emotion I feel when I see those players running out through the smoke, is almost indescribable. Their passion is unbelievable, all their hard work about to get tested with on the spot decisions. I'm not a sport player at all, but watching this team play football is very special to me.

Tonight my team plays their season opener against Idaho State, GO BRONCOS!!
About three weeks ago, my family moved into our new house. After living for a year in our apartment it's nice to be able to move around a little bit more. We have so many boxes though, it's insane. I've lived without a lot of this stuff for two years (storage) so I've decided to get rid of tons, but definitely not any of my books. It's been a very exciting adventure! :)

Acting Update!! So, I auditioned for my school's play, The Secret Garden and got the part of Nurse Grey. I'm really happy that I got in because the audition and cut process was pretty scary at times. Nurse Grey will be fun to play because she has some attitude and a mind of her own!
Also, I just got informed that I get to perform a couple of songs from Schoolhouse Rock with some of my cast members for a program that our city is having. The part I'm pretty pumped about is that we get to do it at this amazing Amphitheater....

And, finally my favorite songs of the week.

I Believe by Fantasia.

Fly on the Wall by Miley Cyrus

Book Reviews, Updates, and Happiness

Hi Hi!! Lots has happened this summer! ;) School finished well and I am now free to breath! Also our house in Idaho SOLD!!!!! Thank the Lord for that. We started looking for a house here but we really couldn't find anything. My parents wanted a house that literally backed up to the school and that was pretty much impossible because it's a very popular area. But one day my mom was driving in that neighborhood for the millionth time and there was a beautiful house with a for sale sign in front of it. We made an offer that night and it was ours the next day. The Lord works in mysterious ways. To see more pictures go HERE.
So, since all that happened we are going back to Idaho (YES!) tomorrow for three weeks to visit extremely missed friends and pack up our house. I'm sure we all will have a blast there and then when I get back I get to go to a two week drama camp!!
Hope all is well with everyone....enjoy my books reviews below..

Bringing the Boy Home by N.A. Nelson

Tirio knows that his adopted life in the United States is better, granted that he was cast out of his families’ Takunami tribe at an early age because of a disabled foot. But, that doesn’t stop him from wondering what his life would be like if his father had accepted him and loved him as he was and not shunned him for what he wasn’t.
Luka’s goal in life is to conquer his soche seche tente, a sixth sense test that he does with his never met father. If he succeeds his family will be honored, weddings will happen, and families will be reunited, but if he fails, his tribe will never respect their family again.
These two boys who live in completely different worlds intertwine in and out of each other’s lives in a very exciting and surprising adventure.

Troll Blood by Katherine Langrish

Peer and Hilde find themselves on a ship heading for Vinland. They both want some adventure but when they find out the captain’s real intentions for the trip, they wonder if they will ever get home. In Katherine Langrish’s final novel of her Troll Trilogy all her characters,Viking and Native American history, and legends come alive. Reading the first two books of this trilogy is highly recommended.

Update- 4/10/08

Hello all my wonderful blogger friends!
I'm sorry that I haven't been updated my blog a lot. ;)
Explanation:

When I was homeschooled I had time to read hundreds of books, interview authors, participate in chats online, meet book crazy people like me, etc. Now, I can barely manage 2 books in a month aside from my school reading. That is sad. All these months in North Carolina I've been feeling really sorry for myself. I was really really involved in the online book/teen community and suddenly it all gets taken away from me. But, that was a very bad, selfish thing for me to think. I have thousands of plans for myself and I think God does too. I had an amazing year finding out the joys of literature and I will never ever forget all that I learned. But that time is over. By no means am I going to stop blogging or reading, but I have to stop trying to make things back to the way they were. I now have to focus on school, drama, church and my family.

It's funny. Have you ever prayed for something that seemed impossible to come true? And did it come true, but you didn't necessarily realize it at first? That happened to me. I prayed for more acting opportunities and God moved us to NC and enrolled us in a school with an amazing drama program. God is so patient with me because at first I was just concentrating on the bad parts of moving not the good. He has given me so many things and I'm so thankful.

I love my blog so much and I hope that you all find it enjoyable to read. There will be times where I can blog everyday and times where once a week is pushing it. But, that is the way it has to go. Hopefully, during my breaks and during summer I can make a bunch of posts that I can post when I don't have time to write them...;)

Love you all!
