This past Saturday, I decided to go and compete at a Debate Competition a couple hours away with some people from my school. I competed in oral interpretation, which is basically presenting a passage of prose or poetry. You are judged on your poise, voice, way you present, etc. I did pretty well considering my lack or preparation and am excited for the fall (when it all starts up again). It was so fun! The picture above was my passage and it was a section from Anne of Green Gables.

That's great that you found out about this. Maybe you can organize a group of kids to participate next year along with you. :)
